Happy B-lated 4th and other NLF news!

Hello everyone,

Before we get to this week's news I'd like to say Happy 4th (on the 5th). I hope everyone had a great 4th of July yesterday and the subsequent food, fireworks, and sitting on the couch watching the hot dog eating contest!

Anyways, here is the NLF news for the week! First of all we are headed into week number three of the series "The Family Channel". This week's topic is "The Brady's: The challenge of the blended family". Many people come from blended families these days. Maybe you did. Maybe you're part of one. Maybe you know someone who is. Whatever the case, it is important to understand the struggles that these families go through regardless of what kind of family you are from. We'll take a look at what scripture says about being a Godly family and you'll want to be here on Sunday morning for that. Don't forget, we'll have food, coffee, and a great time for your kids in the KidZone too, as well as praise and worship music as always.

Also, if you have been visiting with us recently and are interested in becoming a member of New Life, or have recently prayed and accepted Christ, we'd like to invite you to be a part of our New Beginnings 101 class. This class will take only 4 weeks and will be held here at NLF on Wednesday nights beginning July 11 at 7pm. The class only lasts about an hour and child care will be provided as well as pizza at 6:30. I (Jared) will be leading this class and I promise not to make it boring. If you are interested at all, please check the box on your connection card this Sunday and also make sure that you sign up on the sign up sheet that will be here this Sunday as well so that we will have enough materials for everyone.

One last thing, if you are interested in being involved in one of the many ministry opportunities we have here at New Life we would love to have you get involved. We especially have a need for an extra pair of hands in the KidZone. So if you are interested in our KidZone ministry (only once a month!) , our audio/visual ministry or maybe as a greeter or a parking attendant send me an email, call me, or put it on your connection card this Sunday and we'll get back to ya.

I hope all is well with everyone and we'll see you this Sunday.

-Jared
